Chocolate

Been craving chocolate like crazy the last two days. I promised myself that on this “diet” I would not deprive myself; if I want something I eat it.  Just try to be smart about it and not binge.  Yesterday I bought myself a mini Toblerone. Yum, and only 125 calories. So far so good. The day before, I had a chocolate toffee bar. Today I am craving chockies again. I wonder if eating sweets causes the craving for them. I have often wondered about that. Sometimes I think it’s better if I never eat sweets, then I usually don’t crave them.  Ahh, wine and chocolate, my two weaknesses. Well, I have another weakness, no calories, though. Younger men.  There, I said it. Just don’t ask me how young. I’m a little aggravated with myself that I am not losing weight the past couple of months. I would love to start Phentermine again, but I can’t afford to be as nutty as it makes me. I get very out of sorts and on edge.   I am still doing the oil, two tablespoons twice a day, and it is suppressing my appetite to some extent. At least I am not gaining weight.  Frustrated! Fooey. I want to be 130 so bad I can taste it.

I found that if I eat sweets I crave them terribly for about 3-4 days after. I finally decided it wasn’t worth the cravings aftewards! One thing I found that helps is the little rice cakes with chocolate drizzle on them. It is REAL chocolate, but not enough to put you into a tail spin. Just a thought!

I have heard that you don’t crave what you don’t have but I have also heard that your body craves things it needs! I must need a lot of dark chocolate and icecream!!!
I am sure that if you limit yourself to a treat once a day and keep to a good calorie defecit you can enjoy your chocolate and lose weight.
    Good luck,
    Suzanne.

Crave younger men as much as you want Jas, it’s very healthy. LOL

Have you tried dark chocolate? It’s so bitter that you can’t eat a lot and you don’t have any cravings after eating a tiny piece.

All you guys are giving me great ideas, thank you! Eh, dark chocolate is not my favorite. I love milk chocolate. But if I had a dark chocolate bar, I would be obligated to eat the whole thing whether I liked it or not because candy MUST be eaten. It’s just a thing I have. Even if I buy a pack of gum, I will chew the whole pack in a day.
